Seth Thomas Clock Co., c.1885, ECLIPSE model walnut parlor clock, time, gong strike and alarm, 8-day, button latch door.
CONDITION:
the dial has been papered over, and the central trim ring got a bit distorted in the process. Otherwise the clock is in very good original condition, with proper cast pendulum, hands, alarm and tablet, + original finish intact. This model was made as a soap premium in the late 1800s and thousands were produced, yet it endures as one of the most popular shelf models. Inside instructions intact, some loss & water stain.
